His passion for education extended beyond his studies; immediately after his undergraduate graduation, Jack commenced teaching while enrolled in the University of Northern Colorado's Master's Program.

In 1975, Jack's life took a significant turn when he married his wife, who hailed from Iran. The couple moved to Iran for a short period, where Jack taught English. This experience not only broadened his cultural horizons but also deepened his interest in photography, capturing the essence of their experiences abroad. Upon their return to Colorado, Jack resumed his teaching career and completed his Master's Degree in Special Education in 1978. The following year, he and his wife celebrated the birth of their first child, a daughter.

Despite nearing the completion of his doctorate in Special Education Administration by the late 1970s, Jack felt compelled to shift his career path. In 1983, he enrolled at the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where he began a new chapter in his professional life. This decision led him to graduate in 1986, proudly one of the oldest in his class. After graduation, he returned to Colorado, opening his chiropractic practice in Greeley to help others achieve their wellness goals while staying close to the landscapes he cherished.

Jack's deep love for photography found a particular focus in his chiropractic work. He chose to integrate his passion into his studies, writing a thesis titled "Sense of Sight through a Photograph," which explored the therapeutic impact of visual aesthetics. His profound understanding of the interplay of light and nature enriched both his professional practice and his artistry.
